I tried to make a display to compare a good doll to a doll featuring typical goof ups. ^^; I want people to have fun dolling, but can't they have fun dolling something that isn't an eyesore? Compromise, people.

Also, I'd hate to sound like a jerk when I'm trying to help people but REALLY? It takes you an hour to do something that takes me three minutes? I think someone is fibbing...

Base makers, we have severely overestimated the amount of time it takes to doll. :U

I think the book covering the body was a factor in it. o3o All I had to do was draw hair and some folds in the shirt, then recolour and shade.

when i doll i usually take a few hours spread over 2 days. depending on the hase, details and shading colors. but my pallets are a bit bigger; they can consist of 10 colors, it makes it look less anime-ish... i'm just not able to make a doll with that style XD... i like the style very much though....

It has to do with the colors. xD You do a lot of pastel-ish ones.
And your shading, too. And yes, the hair, because of the scribbly highlights. :'D

My dolls take me about an hour and a bit, usually fifteen minuets to twenty. I don't think I need this as I already know all this stuff, but I know a few people who'll love it. =] Oh, the online stopwatch is helpful btw. xxx
